Diagramm Halbach is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of printed media for the healthcare, ticketing and security printing sectors, as well as data documents and labels. Diagramm Halbach is a family-owned business that can look back over 180 years of company history. Social commitment
We offer young people training in many different technical and administrative occupational profiles. We supervise and support their development within our company and offer them a means of obtaining more advanced qualifications once they have finished their training.
We make various contributions to the social communities in which our facilities are located. These include cooperative ventures with schools, clubs and social groups, for whom the company is a reliable partner. Our participation in regional, national and international associations and federations takes many forms and ensures that we become actively involved in a collegial interaction that goes well beyond the boundaries of our company.
Climate and environmental protection
CO2-neutral printing
Diagramm Halbach holds a certificate for CO2-neutral printing awarded by the German Printing and Media Industries Federation (bvdm) within the framework of its climate initiative. This offers our customers a means of compensating for the CO2 emissions produced in association with the manufacturing of their products with environmental certificates. That means that the climatic impact of the manufacturing processes can be determined throughout the entire production chain and neutralized by means of accredited environmental projects.
FSC® certification
Diagramm Halbach has been certified in accordance with the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Councils® (trademark licence code C103329) and is therefore entitled to use FSC-certified paper. The FSC logo gives end customers the assurance that the base paper used to manufacture their products comes from responsible forestry.
Clean solar energy
We operate photovoltaic systems at our production facilities in Schwerte and Herne, which generate well over 250,000 kWh of clean solar energy every year. We make an important contribution towards an environmentally compatible, climate-friendly energy mix with these solar installations.
